overview: read this first

if your hard drive has any of the following problems:
• is clicking or making strange noises
• won't mount on desktop (mac)
• doesn't appear in bios (pc)
• has been reformatted or deleted
• can't be repaired by other shops or computer technicians
• can't be repaired by software tools
• is dying or completely dead
• has been quoted a high price for recovery elsewhere

then you've come to the right place!

i offer risk-free $300 flat fee data recovery services
only pay if your data is recovered.

$300 data recovery is available for all external and internal hard drives, regardless of format (mac, pc, linux) or size (1", 1.8", 2.5", 3.5"), even complex raid systems.

i can save you thousands of dollars
by using the same tools and knowledge as expensive companies without the overhead of storefronts, employees, and advertising. when it comes to data recovery, no company can beat my prices while matching my capabilities, data recovery equipment, and level of expertise.

my process: how do i do it?

the data recovery industry is heavily guarded and secretive. it takes years of searching, practice, and studying to be able to successfully recover data from the never ending variety of problems which can occur with modern hard drives.

along with continuous research, there are various professional level data recovery tools that help assist me with data recoveries. all data recovery tools are extremely expensive and require intensive studying (or classes) to fully archive their potential.

my arsenal of data recovery hardware includes products from deepspar, salvationdata, and yec; three of the world's leaders in manufacturing data recovery equipment. the deepspar disk imager is known for being the best hard drive imager, period. every major data recovery company in the world has one. salvationdata tools are most useful for their ability to work directly with each individual hard drive manufacturer (i.e. seagate, hitachi, maxtor, etc) and fix problems inside the drive itself (i.e. corrupt firmware or rom). like deepspar, yec also specializes in imaging hardware for cloning bad hard drives to good ones.

without giving away all my secrets, rest assured that i go way beyond simple consumer-grade software data recovery applications, or silly "freezer" tricks, to recover your data as safely, thoroughly, and quickly, as possible.

rate: pay $300 if your data is recovered, $0 if not

while most data recovery companies start at around $600,
i charge a flat fee of $300 if your data is recovered and no charge if it isn't!

however, if your hard drive is still inside your laptop (ibook, powerbook, macbook pro, and some pc laptops) or imac, there is a non-refundable $55 fee for removing it. once removed, i can also replace your drive at no additional labor cost.

in order to get back your recovered data,
you can supply me with an external hard drive or buy one from me.

*note: raid drives/servers/enclosures are charged per hard drive
(i.e. a 2-drive 4tb enclosure cost $600, a 5-drive RAID 5 server cost $1500,
and of course, no charge if your data can't be recovered).

turnaround: 85% of data recovery jobs take less than 2 days

i will let you know the same day your drive is dropped off (usually within a few hours) if i'll be able to recover your data. some hard drives can be completely recovered the same day they are received (no extra charge!); depending on the problem with your hard drive it may take 3 days, or in rare cases, up to a week.

safety: non-invasive techniques and 100% confidentiality

i use the highest level of professional data recovery hardware and software tools, combined with years of learning and persistent studying, to recover your data safely. having successfully recovered data from hundreds of damaged hard drives, i understand what to do - and more importantly - what not to do,
in order to keep your data safe.

i rarely open up your drive and expose the sensitive platters and heads. instead, when invasive recovery techniques are required, i refer clients to larger data recovery companies -- a much more expensive alternative, but sometimes the only remaining option. in some cases, invasive recovery methods will be attempted if more expensive companies aren't a feasible option.

confidentiality is extremely important and your data will never been seen by anyone but me (and even then I'm only seeing a small percentage of your files to check for corruption after the recovery). unless otherwise requested, data is deleted off my hard drives immediately after the recovered data has been returned to it's owner. feel free to have me sign a confidentiality agreement if you have any concerns about your privacy.

forensics: uncovering and analyzing digital evidence

extra steps and more complex recovery techniques are used when e-discovery services are necessary. using forensic data recovery techniques, i can create md5 hash calculated images of hard drives (along with detailed reports) which can then be used as court evidence.

this process includes imaging the suspect hard drive (including dying hard drives), recovering hidden/deleted/password protected files, analyzing found data including user activities (such as internet web sites, e-mail messages, instant messenger and ichat transcripts, photos and videos, documents, etc), and reporting on found data and activities.

although forensic services are commonly used for courtroom evidence,
there are many other valid applications for it's findings:

• track/monitor your child's computer activities
• learn if your computer has been compromised (with keyloggers, spyware, etc)
• find out what your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, or wife is doing online
• infidelity investigations
• investigate a suspicious employee's computer
• see what data can be exposed on your sensitive/protected computer
